A little over a year ago we loaded this post which featured 100 images from our 2013 Great Migration season.
Now, a year later, we are looking back at another incredible 8 weeks of Great Migration safaris and if you’ve been following our incredible season through posts on the Wild Eye Facebook page and the trip reports our guys have been sharing, you will know that it was once again an authentic African experience that we shared with our guests.
The photography was amazing but more than that, the Mara once again proved that there is a reason that it is known as one of the best wildlife and photographic destinations on the planet and we again confirmed, both for ourselves and our guests, that we have one of the best offerings when it comes to truly immersing yourself in the greatest wildlife show on earth!
Now that we have wrapped up this incredible season, we again asked the Wild Eye team to share some of their favourite images that they captured on the various trips that they hosted to show you just a small bit of the diversity and magic our guests shared with us during our 2014 season.
The Wild Eye team that hosted safaris this year included:
- Andrew Beck
- Marlon du Toit
- Penny Robartes
- Morkel Erasmus
- Jono Buffey
- Gerry van der Walt
It has been an incredible adventure, we have had some amazing times with our guests and now we are proud to give you the 2014 edition of…

A huge thanks has to go out to our entire team in Kenya who create the incredible platform from which we have the privilege to create images like this, but more importantly, the lifelong memories that our guests take home with them.
To all the guests who joined us this year, thank you. I know I speak on behalf of the entire team when I say it was a pleasure and privilege to share one of our favourite parts of Africa with you all!
It has been said that an image is worth a thousands words. Even if that was true, this wonderful collection of image does not even come close to describing the real thing and experiencing the Great Migration for yourself. It is Africa in it’s purest form and something that has to be seen to be believed.
Even with the memories of an amazing season still fresh in our minds, we have already turned our attention to next year and bookings for our 2015 Great Migration safaris has already started rolling in.
If you would like to join us in 2015 for a Great Migration photographic experience, click here and take the first step to changing the way you see the world!
Asante sana!
Until next time.
